Exchange of work within maritime law firms or lawyers
The aim of all the associates in the network is to exchange work and information. This of course does not bar the associate/member from taking work outside the network, nor is there any compulsion to give work to the associates within the network. By becoming a part of the network the associate does not lose its independent identity, but is strengthened since it is backed by all the associates in the network. Preference is given to the associates within the network, in case an associate concerned is seeking to represent their clients in the jurisdiction in which the associates in the network exist.
